Big Hit in Canada
For the first time in Montreal’s Santa Claus Parade, Kung Fu School performed Lion Dancing and martial arts tradition. Grandmaster Chiu Chi Ling was invited by Sifu Toy, president of the International CCL Hung Gar Kung Fu Association Canada Branch to teach Seminars, perform at the Santa Claus Parade and the shooting of his new TV Show. Over 300 000 people were attending at the parade on November 12th by a freezing cold weather wich didn’t bother Grandmaster wearing is T-Shirt while drumming. TVA Broadcast TV station showed more than two minutes the perfoming students of Sifu Toy for their 1.5 million viewers. The parade will be showed again on television on December 24th.
Grandmaster teaching seminar success continued growing up with Sifu Toy’s students dedicated to perform and learn more about the Hung Gar Kung Fu tradition. Those students will be ready for the next Hung Gar Championship which will take place next March 2006 in Switzerland.
Kung Fu Show is Sifu Toy’s latest TV show and Grandmaster played one of the principal character in the show. Grandmaster Chiu has the role of Sifu Toy’s father in this Kung Fu comedy. All the experience of the famous Grandmaster is very important for the TV show success. Actors and stuntmen playing in the show are all from Sifu Toy’s Action Movie Academy. Grandmaster as been interview at local Radio Station CJMF 93.3 about is movie project with Sifu Toy.
Grandmaster Chiu Chi Ling and Sifu Toy will be in Vancouver B.C. very soon to open a new school to push even more over the Hung Gar Kung Fu spirit and Hong Kong style Action Movie Academy
